This is probably a useless video, however I had it on my computer & figured I would upload it. This TV came to me for repair so I took a look at it. It had two leaky caps in the power supply & it would not let it fully power up, when you would press the power button it would display the ELEMENT ELECTRONICS screen for maybe 1 second then it would go black & would not do anything else. The portable DVD player would not play “DVD” discs, would try but come up “NO DISC”, it played audio & some data cd’s ok, but not DVD’s. I found a spot of something on the lasers lens so I cleaned it really good & it worked perfect afterwards. I was playing the Movie FRIDAY, which is one of my favorite movies!

My portable DVD player says NO DISC Even though there is a disc in it. First it Loads then it says NO DISC. Can you please tell me what you did to fix it?

Chacoiv, I used a q-tip or a small cotton swab, whatever you want to call it, & carefully wiped the small laser lens that reads the disc. Just shut the DVD player OFF, open up the lid, then carefully clean the lens until it looks clear & clean, look at it with a flashlight as you may see dirt or something on it, even if not, just clean it off really good, I forget if I used any kind of cleaning solution. Hope this helps. 621ELECTRONICS

i have that same kind and the screens busted on one part from being smashed and it doesnt show up on that middle part , how do i fix it… if someone knows

1JordanSev1, If your screen is physically cracked / smashed, then I think your only solution is to replace the whole screen, I dont think the screens can be repaired (at least to my knowledge they can’t be, so you may want to ask around). Browse around online & see if you can find any replacement screens for your model & swap them out, probably your only solution to fixing it. Im not sure where you can get a new screen for it. Hope you get it fixed! Take care! 621ELECTRONICS
