Shinco SDP-1250 portable DVD player problem. Starts, gets up to speed, then clicks and eventually slows down. Doesn’t recognise any DVDs or CDs any more. I’ve cleaned the lens, checked for obstructions and lubricated the runner. Any ideas?

You may have problems with the motor that spins the disc. Or check the PCB’s and check the connections.
