USB port only in UK version (next to the headphone jack), But look at the price difference. US Version costs 170 dollars. UK Version costs 199 pounds.
Girls says you can watch movies, pictures etc.. i think she meant that only from DVD.
Plays every known format – divx, mpeg4,jpegs etc.. It also plays tevery known DVD format…dvd+/-R, dvd RW and dual layer DVDs….so, a single DVD can hold approximately 16 movies in high quality DivX format which is very good

I think it is not very attractive. watching video, movies, pictures everything can be simplied now in mobile devices. I recently come to know that a projection out of mobile is possible to have bigger screen around the corner! not a big deal!

I like my ipod. However I found many occasions where i wish i had a portable dvd player so i could watch something spontaneously or perhaps something from my dvd collection on long trips. Ipod requires data manipulation & time consuming uploads. not to mention the extremely tiny screen that you need to keep close enough to see whats going on in the movie.
