i have this DVD player and it’s terrible. Battery cover broke off the remote, it’s taped on now, the player doesn’t play many discs, and the battery died. 1/10

Portable DVD players are really good portable entertainment devices. Because you get 4 GB per disk and each disk is really cheap. It’s a much better buy than a portable media device which is really expensive and has a set amount of memory.

Yeah, Philips make great portable players…..so much so that their latest 7″ model can’t even display DVD’s in 4:3 ratio….meaning anything in 4:3 has to be played in 16:9 with big fat faces. So much better than Toshibas….NOT!
